The engine used for the generator set, especially the naturally aspirated engine, loses some power due to the thin air that cannot burn as much fuel as at sea level when used in high-altitude areas. For naturally aspirated engines, the power loss is generally about 3% for every 300m increase in altitude. Therefore, when working in high-altitude areas, lower power should be used to prevent smoking and excessive fuel consumption.

Working in extreme cold weather conditions

Add auxiliary starting equipment (fuel heater, oil heater, water jacket heater, etc.)

Using a fuel or electric heater, heat the cooling water, fuel, and lubricating oil of the cold engine to raise the temperature of the entire engine, so that it can start smoothly.
